Job Title: Housekeeping Supervisor Department: Clubhouse
Position Type: F/T Seasonal, P/T Off-Season Immediate Supervisor: General Manager
Directly Supervise: 3 Salary Range: $19-$20

General Function:
Responsible for the overall housekeeping of the Toronto Ski Club.
Scheduling of day and night shifts and leading a team of up to 3 people.
Must ensure Club maintains a high level of cleanliness at all times. Including cleaning and bussing during regular operation, after all operational days & special events.

Job Knowledge / Qualifications:
At least 3 years experience in resort/large scale cleaning.



Job Description

Member Services is the “nucleus” of TSC and it is vital to the TSC membership experience. The individual in the role will be known as the face of the club and will be the “go to person” for member questions around the club. The individual in this role will have to wear many hats, and ideally is very familiar with Blue Mountain.

Specific Duties & Responsibilities*

  • Member/Guest Customer Service (Assisting visiting racers, directing new members, and being knowledgeable about the layout and events at Toronto Ski Club)
  • Assist with Membership questions – (Always greet members, and reinforce our message of “Welcome to your Winter Home”)
  • Assist the hosts of the Kids/Teens Après Program
  • Running in-house Kids Après Programs that are scheduled in the calendar
  • Retail Sales and handling cash, cheques and point of sale system.
  • Assist with some member events including but not limited to registration, auctions etc.
  • Working with the team to communicate to members any events and activities that are happening at the club
  • Assist in selling club activities such as member events, programs & private lessons etc.
  • Open and/or closing Member Services by yourself
  • Answering phone calls in a professional manor
  • Other duties as assigned


  • This role reports to the Manager of Membership Sales, Events and Services.


  • Motivated, independent worker with the ability to work well under pressure and multi-task.
  • Experience with children
  • Be a role model for younger athletes
  • Ability to follow instructions
  • On the go problem-solving skills
  • Knowledgeable about the Ski and Snowboard industry
  • Efficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Basic skills in Google
  • Experience in Adobe programs is considered an asset
  • Experience in Jonas is considered an asset

Terms of Reference

  • Part-Time, seasonal hourly position paid between $16.00 - $18.00 an hour
  • Start day December 27th, 2019 – March 8th, 2019 (Additional training days will be required prior to start date)
  • Required to work every Saturday & Sunday. Occasional Friday's if available. Additional hours will be required over Christmas Break & Holidays.
  • The club is CLOSED on Christmas Day and therefore staff DO NOT work.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Salary: $16.00 to $18.00 /hour

  • U14 SOD Cup assistant
  • Alpine Snowboarding Coach

TSC Lead Coaches work directly with our awesome young athletes and in addition guide the assistant coaches in their roles.

Regular programs run from Dec 27th - early March. During the competition season our weekend training takes place at Toronto Ski Club (Fridays through Sundays). We also offer; Christmas (5 days) & NY Years (3 days) and some mid-week Thursday training. Successful candidates will be responsible the Head Coach and Lead coaches within the specific age.

At the Toronto Ski Club we value Coaches who bring a well rounded ski education to the team, having qualifications that include CSIA certifications in addition to coaching credentials is an asset

These positions are secured under seasonal contract and paid a competitive rate based on qualifications and previous race/coach experience.

A background in athletic development, mental training and a clean driving abstract are assets in this application.
