Seasonal, Bar Manager

The Bar Manager is responsible for overseeing the day to day operations of the T-Bar ensuring the overall quality, service and service staff performance. This leadership role works cohesively with the Head Chef and the F&B Supervisor to deliver great Member and Corporate F&B experiences. Specific Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Manage the business aspects of the bar, negotiating supplier contracts, taking inventory and reordering supplies, managing budgets, and setting goals.
  2. Hiring and training Bar Staff. Supervision duties include; delegating responsibilities, scheduling, coaching and correcting, evaluating, training and mentoring of staff.
  3. Enforce liquor licencing laws and ensure they are adhered to.
  4. Assist the F&B Supervisor with the execution of all F&B related Corporate and Member events.
  5. Responsible for daily bar cash outs and gratuity distribution.
  6. Provide assistance to the Head Chef with Bar and apr├Ęs menu preparations, menu consistency, service standards, and cleanliness.
  7. Update Bar Specials Menu board daily.
  8. Responsible for submitting accurate payroll to the Assistant General Manager on a bi-weekly basis.
  9. Perform other duties as assigned.
  10. Meet with event committees to determine bar offerings for main events.
  11. Plan and execute corporate events, with the assistance of the Head Chef and F&B Supervisor.
